HORRIBLE Pictures Turned ... A Little Less Horrible

So, it was time for Christmas pictures. I've been thinking about it for months, and had them all planned out in my head. And I just have to say that they looked really cute in my head. I had to take the girls up to the house because the light here -- pretty much stinks. Since the floors up there are still covered in Sheetrock dust, I had only a small area to work with. I had to use my smaller lens because I couldn't get far enough away with my bigger lens, and the light up there was not the best either.

Long story short, they turned out really badly. I think my small lens has seen the last of it's days because I can't hardly get it to focus anymore.

When I got them developed, I wanted to cry. I just wanted them to turn out so I didn't have to spend so much time in Photo Shop (like I did last year), but that was not to be.

I can say it has forced me into figuring out how to really work my photo shop program.

Why do I want you to see my complete failure? So everyone can know there is hope. It just takes a little magic( I use that word because it was not skill) and your pictures can be somewhat presentable. Anyway, the result.

I always thought that it was so cool for those of you who get like 18 comments. Since I can't do that without a little help, I guess I'll have to help...a little (OK a whole lot)!
Is it against the rules to comment on your own blog?

Oh you want comments do you? Well I think your pictures STINK! My 4 year old can take better pictures! Good thing you're not a professional!

OH, OUCH! Maybe I don't want 18 comments if that is how they are going to be. You are a mean, mean commenter! Are there any nice commenters out there?

I'll leave a nice comment. It looks like you tried really hard to get good pictures. Good effort at least!

Ok nice commenter, way to just tell her what she wants to hear. She needs to hear the truth! GOOD EFFORT - WHATEVER!!

Hey mean commenter, I am entitled to my own opinions. I think it was a great effort. And I think someone needs to give you a hug!

Whoa - this was not what I wanted. I didn't mean to open up a can of worms. DO NOT FIGHT ON MY BLOG! Go to bed both of ya.

Well, I think that you are the one that needs the hug.

Ya, I agree with you.

OK maybe I do need a hug, but this is not helping. Just leave me alone!

HEY - I like your music. Very Christmasy. I don't think that's how you spell that though.

Thanks, I like the music too.

Alright, I think it's too hard to get to 18 comments. So I guess I better go to bed too.

Maybe another time :)

I just wanted to leave a comment on your page.....even though I had to find it through another person...by the way it's Kim Manor AKA Hutchinson. I just wanted to let you know that I think you page is adorable. You girls are absolutely precious and I can't believe how fast they grow up! I think you did a wonderful job with your pictures. I want to get into picture taking....but I just don't have the time yet...school keeps me tied up! I think your pictures are too cute and I think you are being too hard on yourself! Hope you enjoy the holidays--and I'll probably see you during.
It was good catching up with you....I just can't get enough of this blogging stuff!!

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie.....you are hilarious! First of all your pictures are so good! When we were all home taking pictures of the three girls we really wanted them done professional.....now we know who to call! Would you seriously be down for that? We would pay you....why don't you do this professionally? Second of all I can tell that you are entirely too hard on yourself, and totally shouldn't be, you are really talented!! Anyways I better get to church!! Love your page and music! (I know what you mean about feeling cool about getting alot of comments;)

Ditto EXACTLY what Tiffany said! I LOVE your Christmas pictures, they turned out AMAZING and you are a pro! And yes, would you do our little girls' sometime for us? I want to get photoshop and learn how to do the cute things you do!

Oh James, (does anyone ever call you that? I had a friend Jamie and we all called her James... that is beside the point.) If you don't quit being so hard on yourself, I'm going to have to come over there and give you a time out, or ground you... sometimes it would be nice to be grounded to my room by myself!

I LOVE you pictures. I mean really they look wonderful. Emily

Hey Jamie. I've decided to give you a challenge. Your next post you have to write two good things about yourself ok? And don't say you can't cause i can think of a ton.
You really do a great job. Have a good day!

So it seems you have reached over 18 comments! Does it count as cheating if I left 2? I would love for you to put your picture taking ability to use and catch some cute pictures of me and Kirk. We don't have many pictures of the 2 of us, really just our wedding ones and our engagements...and frankly, I'm sick of looking at the same old ones! I want to get some cute ones of us in the snow! Could we set up an appointment with you over the Holidays? Let me know!!!
